Trying to decide whether to buy an external or internal halyard flagpole? An internal halyard system is advisable in a flagpole that is 40' or taller for the following reasons.
1) Ease in Hoisting the flag.
2) Noise reduction (No Rerope to make that clanging sound on your pole).
3) Less wear and tear on your rope.
4) More appealing appearance.
An internal halyard pole also has the added feature of a locking mechanism to make the pole more tamper proof.
